Mental Health Panel - April 30th, 2022

Mind of Mine presents our 4th Annual Mental Health Panel which will be happening in-person on April 30th, 2022! This event will be in a panel format where discussions around topics like Depression, Anxiety, Relationships, Gender & Cultural Diversity, and Resiliency will take place with several clinical psychologists and local educators. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage and ask questions anonymously as well as learn about getting comfortable around mental health dialogue and conversation.

This event is presented by Mind of Mine Foundation with all event proceeds going towards Thirdspace Life Charity to help pay for counseling services for those who cannot afford it.

Join us for a day of growth, understanding one another, and prioritizing mental health!

Please note that this is an in-person event and may be rescheduled pending BC COVID-19 restrictions. All tickets will be honored if the event is rescheduled. We appreciate your understanding!

 Virtual Mental Health Panel - January 2021

Our 3rd annual event was held virtually in a panel discussion format where our speakers answered questions that people submitted.

Speakers included: Dr. Jamie Piercy, Dr. Harry Miller, Dr. Zach Walsh, Dr. Lesley Lutes, and Laylee Misener.

 Mental Health Forum - January 2020

This was our 2nd Annual event on Bell Let's Talk Day. We had a wide variety of speakers, as well as 2 different mental health workshops that attendees could choose from.

 Stigma Stroll and Krispy Kreme Donut Drive - June 2019

Raised $1500 for the Third Space Charity with a 2-day Krispy Kreme Donut Drive. The Third Space Charity works to provide free counseling to youths who cannot otherwise afford it. Through this event we were able to provide 17 free counseling sessions for locals in Kelowna.

 Mental Health Forum - Febuary 2019

Raised $3000 at our first event, a Mental Health Forum on the Bell Let’s Talk Day at the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus. We had a number of mental health experts talk to the audience of over 300 people and discuss the importance of maintaining one’s mental health.
